'CAFE&SHOP SOCOCOCO' opens at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building North Observatory!

Shop Information

"CAFE&SHOP SOCOCOCO," operated by Nomura Medias, opened in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building North Observatory on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

"Sokokoko" (here and there) is a term used in the ancient Manyoshu poetry collection, meaning "you and I," "there and here," "near and far," or "all over the place."

Shinjuku, the heart of Tokyo, is a place where information, technology, various cultures, content, and diverse people intersect and connect, creating vitality and new value. Located at the center of this, on the 45th floor observatory accessible to everyone, we aimed to create a relaxing space where people can take a break, enjoy the view spreading out below, and let their thoughts wander to the "here and there" of Tokyo.

The cafe space offers a variety of drinks, light meals, and desserts. You can also enjoy original menu items such as "Sky Float," inspired by three types of Tokyo skies: "Blue Sky," "Sunset," and "Twilight," as well as desserts served in "Masu" (wooden boxes) featuring Tokyo Metropolitan Government building designs, which you can take home as souvenirs.

In addition, the retail area sells various souvenirs and gifts to commemorate your Tokyo sightseeing trip.
