'TOKYO Mikke!' opens at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building South Observatory!

Shop Information

"GIFT SHOP TOKYO Mikke!," operated by Nomura Medias, opened on the South Observation Deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The positive emotion of excitement when something unexpected is discovered or an unforeseen happy event occurs, leading one to say "Look, look!" or "I found it!," is universal and is a true thrill of sightseeing.

Creating "unplanned" experiences where you encounter special souvenirs and flavors found only here, beyond the "planned" action of visiting the observation deck for the view—"TOKYO Mikke!" was born with the goal of being a store where the many people visiting from Japan and abroad can find "memories of their trip to Tokyo."

The store sells a variety of items, including original-design Daruma dolls, Edo Kiriko glassware, tenugui towels, and other uniquely Japanese goods, as well as small items, tea, and sweets that are easy to purchase as souvenirs. The cafe menu is also extensive, offering a variety of drinks, soft-serve ice cream that you can customize with toppings like gold leaf, cacao nibs, and truffle (salt & oil), as well as various flavors such as the "Seven Lucky Gods Ultimate Matcha Parfait," "Dashi-drenched Grilled Rice Ball," and "Tamagoyaki Skewer."

Also, as a symbol representing the store's worldview, the "TOKYO Mikke! Tower" has been installed in the center of the store. Tablet terminals, magazines, booklets, and more are placed there to share seasonal information.
