noon is an R&D project that conducts research and development with the theme of 'materials = earth resources.' We create speakers from sustainable materials such as construction waste, food waste, and natural materials, and challenge ourselves to create new values for materials through acoustic experiences. Nomura Medias is working on this project in collaboration with Nomura Co., Ltd.
For this second installment of noon, we focused on waste materials from the space sector, which is expected to grow further, and considered new ways to utilize them. Projects and companies with axes in different fields gathered, and 'DEBRIS' was born. Through music experiences, 'DEBRIS' creates opportunities to turn eyes toward resources, regional charm, and space.

Before DEBRIS was born, the rocket fuel tank traveled through space and across the 'places' and 'times' of Hokkaido. We position this process as a 'journey' and will hold a release party where you can enjoy the trajectory of DEBRIS's journey with your eyes and ears. The venue is CITAN, a hostel operated by Backpackers’ Japan, which plans and produces hotels and campsites with the philosophy of 'for a world with many journeys.' We will savor the record of the journey that DEBRIS resonates through sight and sound together with everyone who attends.
