"Nagoya City Science Museum Museum Shop" and "Nagoya City Science Museum Cafe Restaurant" are now open!

The "Nagoya City Science Museum Museum Shop," operated by Nomura Medias, opened on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The "Nagoya City Science Museum Cafe Restaurant," adjacent to the shop, is also scheduled to open on Tuesday, December 23.

 

Nagoya City Science Museum is one of the leading comprehensive science museums in Japan, based on the concept of "see, touch, and verify," where everyone can enjoy and become familiar with science. It consists of three buildings: the "Astronomy Building," the "Science and Technology Building," and the "Life Science Building," and features large-scale exhibits such as one of the world's largest planetarium domes, a tornado lab, and an electrical discharge lab.

 

The museum shop sells a variety of goods that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, genders, and nationalities, including items related to space and stars, as well as mineral and fossil specimens. You can take home the excitement and thrills you felt at the science museum. In addition, the cafe restaurant offers a variety of drinks, light meals, and sweets, as well as many original menu items such as "Lava Flow Cheese Hamburg Steak," "Dinosaur Footprint Pizza," and "Meteorite Hot Dog."
