In recent years, environmental issues and the challenges faced by local communities have become increasingly complex. We solve these challenges with the power of space, propose new ways of existing in society, and create "encounters" where diverse "someone" and "something" intersect. Guiding these "encounters" into valuable "co-creation" is the practice of social good unique to NOMURA MEDIAS.
What I am most proud of regarding the "Social Good Council," the forum for putting this into practice, is that it is a voluntary gathering of members who have a strong desire to "make society better." Driven by the realization that "we can do something about this issue" that arises from our daily work, we take on challenges with free ideas, unafraid of failure.
We will not let this activity end as mere social contribution. We aim to realize a "virtuous cycle" where insights gained and encounters with diverse partners are fed back into our business, leading to "contributions to society" that in turn lead to "business growth." Let's create a prosperous environment and happiness for people that will continue into the future, while enjoying the process together.
