A special exhibition of Kaii Higashiyama, who opened new frontiers in landscape painting. This is the fourth venue for this traveling exhibition, which brings together Higashiyama's works. The highlight of the exhibition is the reproduction of the sliding door paintings (a total of 68 fusuma and tokonoma paintings) from the Miei-do Hall of Toshodai-ji Temple in Nara, which was handled by Nomura Duo. A walkway was created through each room to provide an experience as if one were viewing them inside the Miei-do Hall. In production, meticulous attention was paid to the accurate measurements of the Miei-do Hall and the fitting of the works. Lighting was provided by upper lights from the front of the works to ensure uniform illumination, recreating the space of the Miei-do Hall.
