A special exhibition of ukiyo-e from the "Hara Yasaburo Collection," focusing on Utagawa Hiroshige's late masterpieces, "The Famous Views of the Sixty-odd Provinces" and "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo."
The space is designed with reduced illumination to protect the precious first-edition prints, featuring curved partitions made of see-through string curtains that also serve to guide visitor flow.
Close-ups of popular works are applied to washi paper, the material used for ukiyo-e, and arranged continuously to create movement and accents in the otherwise monotonous space.
