1995: Eleven years after being completely destroyed in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, it was rebuilt in 2006 as "Mint Kobe," a complex commercial building featuring diverse urban functions including a bus terminal, cinema complex, cultural center, and offices. In 2018, it created a vision for the future of Kobe's city center. We handled a comprehensive renewal of the commercial environment, replacing the majority of the shops. With the design concept of "M-INT MUSEUM," it expresses a unique "Kobe-esque" lifestyle cultivated by a culture of progressiveness and the city's landscape, where each person cherishes and enjoys their daily life. Featuring a glittering elevator hall design and two-faced atrium spaces, we incorporated wrought iron, art objects, and carefully selected furniture, integrating the "M" that symbolizes the characteristics of Mint Kobe.
