Matsuya Ginza's regional revitalization project. Following the first installment for Christmas, the second installment for the New Year is handled by "BUAISOU," an indigo master and dyer active in Tokushima Prefecture, which boasts the highest production of indigo in Japan. The 1st-floor Space of Ginza, show windows, and basement posters are expressed through indigo noren curtains. The installation of a very large noren hanging in the Space of Ginza, composed of 29 pieces with a total height of 9 meters, was proposed by calculating the viewing perspective and standing position. The authentic indigo-colored noren using natural indigo overlap in exquisite shades, and their expression changes depending on the viewing angle. At the front and the basement passage show windows, Fukusuke wearing indigo-dyed kataginu and indigo-dyed noren welcome customers.
